We regularly offer Foundation Training, Group Facilitation Training and Advanced Solihull Approach training courses throughout Australia.
All training courses are via live-remote access to ensure anyone can participate.
2021 saw the first Advanced training for Managers training in Australia.
The Solihull Approach training is applicable for anyone working with families, in education, healthcare, welfare, schools and even for first responders and sports coaches. Basically it is for anyone who interacts with another.

Solihull Approach was referenced in the Victorian Maternal and Child Health nurses training aimed at helping to protect our children from the enduring effects of early relational trauma. Developed and delivered by Deakin University and the Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia.

Helen is a member of the AAIMH, WAIMH and is a registered Solihull Approach Trainer. Helen also heads the Solihull Approach Australia - Governance Centre, and is responsible for governance of all professional training and parent courses in Australia.
Helen presents to conferences locally and world wide. Her resources are recognised academically and her research and collaborative work extends from local to international Universities.

Meet Helen
Helen Stevens is a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Maternal & Child Health Nurse with a Masters in Mental Health Sciences. Helen incorporates research findings into her presentations, clinical work, education, research and supervision. Her focus on the infant social and emotional health and wellbeing is evident in her 'Safe Sleep Space' (2012) and 'Connect to Sleep' (2017) books, and as contributing author in 'The Science of Mother-Infant Sleep' (2014). Helen has acted in an advisory capacity on numerous projects and presented at conferences worldwide relating to early years and family regulation. Helen provides education and training for professionals and parents, and also provides tertiary University sessional lecturing. Her focus on supporting quality infant-parent relationship for parents and those who provide professional support is evident in all her work.
